Kitchen cabinetry: made-to-measure supply and installation

Plan kitchens for homes, apartment developments, hotels and commercial projects with MFABER. We bring the layout, cabinet specification and installation brief together so that your proposal describes what will actually be supplied.

Start with the room and the way it is used

Wall lengths and heights, openings, service positions and appliance dimensions form the starting brief. Preliminary drawings can support an initial discussion; production requires an agreed drawing revision and a clear responsibility for checking final dimensions. Islands, corner units, tall cabinets and storage should be considered alongside circulation and everyday use.

Where site templating is needed, agree when it takes place and which finished surfaces, appliance details and service positions must already be fixed. Cabinet manufacture, worktop templating and final fitting may require separate approvals; a preliminary layout should not be treated as approval for every stage.

Specify the cabinets and the components

Define carcasses, doors, finishes, colours, edging, hinges, drawer systems and handles separately. The proposal should identify whether worktops, sinks, lighting and appliances are included. Samples and product information help distinguish the intended appearance from the actual materials and components being ordered.

One kitchen or a repeated development package

Requirements can cover a single space or several apartment types. Type references, quantities, dimensional variations, packaging labels and phased delivery should be coordinated. Any sample unit or mock-up, its approval criteria and its cost are established in the project proposal.

Agree supply and fitting responsibilities

Request supply only or, for suitable projects, an installation package. Site preparation, removal of existing units, service alterations, transport, unloading and fitting are identified as included or excluded. Pricing follows the agreed dimensions, specification, quantities, destination and installation scope.

Global expertise, supply shaped around your project

We assess the nearest suitable region alongside technical capability, product specification, quality, capacity and your programme. The supply or manufacturing location, site support and logistics responsibilities are confirmed in the proposal. Distance is one consideration within a coordinated project decision.

Agree the finish as carefully as the layout

A finish brief should describe the cabinet material, visible colour, sheen and expected use. A solid painted front, a stained timber front and a clear finish can produce very different results even when the same reference photograph is used. We help define these choices as part of the quotation and sample approval process.

Confirm which surfaces are finished before delivery and what, if anything, is completed on site. Edges, panels, trims, touch-ups and care instructions should be identified in the agreed package. Suitable production, delivery and fitting arrangements are selected for your specification and location.

We stand behind our work

We stand behind the building materials and furniture we supply and the installation work we carry out. Warranty coverage, duration, start date and conditions are specified for each product and work package in the quotation and contract.

Product and installation warranties are defined separately. For support, contact info@mpandoglobal.com with the order or project reference, affected item, delivery date and a description of the issue. Applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

Work through the details before you order

What should I send for a kitchen quotation?

Share the project location, preliminary layout and dimensions, number of kitchens, finish preferences, appliance sizes and target delivery period. Tell us whether you need fitting as well as supply. Details that are still undecided can be resolved during the initial assessment.

Are worktops and appliances included?

The written proposal defines this. Cabinetry, worktops, sinks, taps, appliances, logistics and fitting should be identified individually. Do not assume an item is included because it appears in an inspiration image.

Can my kitchen have painted, stained or clear-finished timber fronts?

The available finish is assessed against the selected front material and design. An opaque coating can create a uniform colour, while a stain or clear finish retains more of the timber's natural character. Agree the material, sample, sheen and acceptable variation before production. A screen image is a design reference rather than a guarantee that every natural timber piece will look identical.

For painted timber, the preparation and primer should suit the wood, any knots or staining, and the intended finish. Approval should cover the complete finish system rather than assuming that a paint colour alone defines the result.

Will the cabinetry arrive finished or be painted after fitting?

The proposal should state the agreed method. It should identify any preparation or finishing completed before delivery, any work planned after fitting, protection during installation and how approved touch-ups are handled. Neither approach is assumed from a photograph. The choice depends on the material, finish, site conditions and the agreed work sequence.

What should I approve on a cabinet finish sample?

Record the material, colour reference, sheen, texture and which part of the cabinetry the sample represents. Review it under relevant lighting and alongside the intended worktop or adjacent finish where possible. Sample availability and any cost are confirmed for the enquiry. Record approval and any permitted variation before manufacture; a colour name alone does not specify the complete finish.

How do I choose between drawers, shelves and pull-out storage?

Start with what you store and how you use the room. List bulky cookware, everyday crockery, food containers and items used less often. Drawers can make deeper storage easier to see and reach; shelves or pull-outs may suit other items and layouts. Check usable internal dimensions, the selected fittings’ load limits and the space needed when drawers and appliance doors are open. Share these priorities with MFABER alongside the room plan. We assess the storage arrangement, cabinet construction and fitting scope together, with support from the nearest suitable region. The agreed specification identifies the components and any internal organisers included.
