Custom furniture and made-to-measure cabinetry
MFABER assesses furniture, cabinetry and built-in cabinetry around your space and its intended use. For residential, workplace, hospitality and commercial projects, design decisions are considered together with manufacture, delivery and installation.
Furniture shaped around the brief
Describe each item by use and location: a freestanding piece, fitted cabinet, reception desk, storage unit or replacement component. Identify dimensions, quantities, room types and the materials it meets. A component may still require assembly, finishing or installation; a finished piece has its own agreed delivery scope. The proposal distinguishes custom manufacture, products selected from a confirmed supplier range and site work, with responsibilities for each stage. A nearby coordination point does not by itself identify where an item is made.
Drawings, finishes and approval
Develop the design into construction details, dimensions, opening clearances, fixing, hardware and service access. Show junctions with stone, metal, glass, upholstery, lighting or equipment supplied by another team, and name who measures and approves each interface. Review materials and finish samples alongside care requirements. Where a curved form or unusual detail needs a prototype, agree its purpose, cost and acceptance criteria. Record the drawing and sample approvals before production; a change to an adjoining item requires a review of the furniture, cost and schedule.
Delivery that works on site
Plan item labels, packaging and delivery phases around the access route, elevators or stairs, storage and installation area. Confirm whether the scope includes unloading, internal handling, assembly, fixing and protection. A large item may require an approved assembly or handling plan; lifting equipment, building access permissions and structural work are not assumed from a furniture-only quote. Check quantities and visible condition at receipt, then fit and operation against approved drawings at installation. Record outstanding items and responsibilities. If another team installs the pieces, agree the information and component identification it needs before dispatch.
Compare like-for-like proposals
Compare dimensions, construction, finishes, hardware, quantity, delivery, installation and warranty on the same basis. MFABER supports projects globally and assesses the nearest suitable resources against manufacturing needs, quality, capacity, site conditions and aftercare. The proposal identifies the seller, supply or production route, installer and responsible contact. These roles may involve different specialists, and material supply and installation need not originate from the same place. Actual availability and commercial terms are confirmed for the request.
Global expertise, supply shaped around your project
We assess the nearest suitable region alongside technical capability, product specification, quality, capacity and your schedule. The supply or manufacturing location, site support and logistics responsibilities are confirmed in the proposal. Distance is one consideration within a coordinated project decision.
A coordinated package with clear responsibilities
Custom cabinetry can connect the look and practical use of several rooms without treating every room as identical. A kitchen, bathroom vanity, laundry area or home office may need different dimensions, storage arrangements and material choices. Tell us which items need to coordinate and what each space must accommodate.
MFABER can assess material and furniture supply together with the requested delivery, installation and subcontract work. The quotation identifies the included tasks and interfaces with your other trades. Through our global service approach, we coordinate support from the nearest suitable region and confirm the arrangements for your project.
We stand behind our work
We stand behind the building materials and furniture we supply and the installation work we carry out. Warranty coverage, duration, start date and conditions are specified for each product and work package in the quotation and contract.
Product and installation warranties are defined separately. For support, contact info@mpandoglobal.com with the order or project reference, affected item, delivery date and a description of the issue. Applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
Work through the details before you order
Can you work from my architect’s drawings?
Share the drawings, dimensions, material preferences and intended use. Technical feasibility, production information, dimensional approval and delivery scope are established during assessment.
Can I enquire about one item or a repeated furniture package?
Both types of inquiry can be assessed. Minimum quantities, production suitability, price and logistics depend on the item, material, quantity and location. There is no universal published minimum order or stock commitment.
Can new furniture match an existing room or millwork detail?
Share photographs, dimensions, the intended use and the details you want to retain or complement. For a replacement profile, include a measured cross-section if available, lengths, quantities, material and finish. A physical sample or further measurement may be needed. Matching shape, species and an aged surface are separate decisions; a photograph alone cannot confirm an identical result. An individual replacement detail can be assessed, with agreed variations recorded before production.
How are natural materials and adjoining finishes approved?
Use an agreed physical sample to review material, grain, texture, color and sheen under relevant lighting. Identify adjoining panels or repeated rooms that need coordinated appearance. Samples establish the accepted reference and range of variation; they do not make natural materials identical. Record any substitution or finish change and its impact before production continues.
What if access or site readiness changes?
Let us know before dispatch so the route, assembly sizes, storage, protection and delivery sequence can be reviewed. The written scope identifies who unloads, moves, stores and installs the items. Product-specific storage and acclimation requirements still apply. Any revised dates, extra handling, insurance responsibility or charges should be agreed; delayed installation does not automatically include indefinite storage.
What is included in furniture handover and aftercare?
Keep the supplied item references, approved drawings and finishes, component information, care guidance and written warranty terms. Receipt checks and installation acceptance are separate stages; note outstanding work and who will resolve it. MFABER stands behind the products and agreed work it supplies. Email info@mpandoglobal.com with the order or project reference, affected item and relevant photographs for a care, component or workmanship inquiry. Replacement availability and coverage are assessed for the specific item.
If an item arrives damaged, incomplete or different from the agreed specification, keep the order reference, item labels, delivery records and clear photos, and contact info@mpandoglobal.com. We review the issue against the supplied item and agreed scope and explain the next step. Keep product-specific care instructions and warranty information with your project records.
Can one custom cabinetry package cover the kitchen, bathroom and home office?
Yes. Send a room-by-room list with drawings or measurements, storage needs and the finishes you want to coordinate. We assess the requirements of each space and set out the agreed package. Matching appearance does not mean that every room should use the same materials, dimensions or hardware.
How are cabinet supply, delivery and installation responsibilities divided?
The proposal should identify who supplies the furniture, checks measurements, receives and unloads it, carries it into the building and installs it. Connections to appliances or other building services are identified separately. MFABER confirms its agreed responsibilities and the interfaces with your appointed trades so that a supply quotation is not mistaken for a complete installation package. The scope also states whether items arrive as labeled parts, assembled units or a package requiring field assembly. Confirm which fittings, instructions, assembly work and site adjustments are included before comparing prices; a parts-only quotation is not the same as a completed installation.
Can I supply my own fabric, leather or other material for custom furniture?
Please ask before purchasing or shipping it. Share the intended furniture item, material reference, supplier information and any available samples or technical documents. We assess suitability and the proposed scope before confirming acceptance. For upholstery, usable width, pattern repeat, direction and the chosen detailing can affect the quantity needed; leather and fabric are not measured on the same basis. Required quantities and any project-specific performance documents should be agreed for the selected construction. The proposal should identify who orders and receives the material, checks it on arrival, approves substitutions and handles shortages or defects. Confirm how material availability affects production timing and how responsibilities for the supplied material and the finished work are divided. Sending an inspiration image or naming a fabric does not by itself authorize production.
Does an oak finish mean my custom cabinets are solid oak?
Not by itself. The description may refer to solid wood, real wood veneer, or a wood-look decorative surface. Ask what is used for the cabinet boxes, doors, shelves, and exposed edges. The core and the finish are separate choices, so a reference to MDF or particleboard alone does not describe the completed cabinet. Send MFABER your dimensions, layout, use requirements, and preferred look. The proposal should identify the material build-up, thickness, edge treatment, hardware, and approved finish sample. If the design combines materials, it should state which components are solid wood. Confirm the selected product references and care instructions before approving production, so you can compare the actual cabinet construction rather than just a color or wood name.
What clearance is needed for custom cabinet doors and drawers?
There is no single clearance that fits every cabinet. Door construction, hinges, drawer slides, handles, and adjacent surfaces all affect how the furniture operates. Review the open position as well as the closed appearance, including whether inner drawers can extend past doors and whether nearby furniture or appliances obstruct access. Send MFABER the dimensions, layout, intended use, and known obstructions. The proposed hardware and construction are checked against the approved design and the manufacturer’s requirements before fabrication. Final measurements and documented approvals are needed; an attractive rendering does not by itself establish a workable opening arrangement.
