Choose for the space and its use

Tell us how the room is used, the appearance you prefer and any relevant performance requirements. Laminate, vinyl and engineered timber are different materials. A similar wood effect does not make their installation, moisture tolerance or care requirements interchangeable. Confirm the exact product reference before ordering.

Consider the supporting surface and finished height

Share photographs and information about the existing floor, the supporting surface and any heating or cooling system. Preparation and underlayment are assessed for the selected product. Coordinate the finished height with doors, stairs and adjoining rooms; underlayment is not a universal remedy for an unsuitable base.

Define the complete quote

Identify measured areas, layout, agreed allowance, underlayment, baseboards and transition profiles. State whether you need materials, installation or both. If work is requested, clarify removal, disposal, moving furniture, access and protection. Availability, delivery and the schedule are confirmed for the actual inquiry.

Keep approval and handover clear

Agree the product reference and sample before procurement. At delivery, check the supplied reference and visible condition before installation. Record the agreed finish, care information and any outstanding work at handover. Product and installation warranty terms are specified separately, with the order reference retained for support.

Global expertise, supply shaped around your project

We assess the nearest suitable region alongside technical capability, product specification, quality, capacity and your schedule. The supply or manufacturing location, site support and logistics responsibilities are confirmed in the proposal. Distance is one consideration within a coordinated project decision.

We stand behind our work

We stand behind the building materials and furniture we supply and the installation work we carry out. Warranty coverage, duration, start date and conditions are specified for each product and work package in the quotation and contract.

Product and installation warranties are defined separately. For support, contact info@mpandoglobal.com with the order or project reference, affected item, delivery date and a description of the issue. Applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

Work through the details before you order

What should I send for a laminate flooring quote?

Send the project ZIP code, room dimensions or plans, and photos of the existing floor. Include the intended use, preferred look, timing and whether you need installation. We clarify flooring quantities, underlayment, baseboards or shoe molding, transitions, delivery, removal and preparation. Final measurements and allowances are agreed before ordering; square footage alone does not describe the full scope.

Can laminate be installed over my existing floor or concrete slab?

That depends on the existing surface, its condition and the selected flooring system. The review should address flatness, moisture, stability, finished height and transitions to doors or adjacent rooms. Share what you know about the floor and any previous moisture issues. Removal, testing, leveling or other preparation must be identified in the proposal rather than assumed to be included.

Does waterproof laminate mean it is suitable for every room?

No single category label establishes suitability for every exposure or installation. Review the chosen product's instructions and warranty alongside room use, subfloor conditions, edge details and maintenance. A surface-spill claim does not resolve a moisture problem below the flooring. MFABER confirms the selected product and agreed work instead of applying one waterproofing promise to every laminate option.

How do I choose between laminate, engineered wood and vinyl flooring?

Compare the actual material, appearance, expected use, moisture conditions, maintenance and installation system. A wood-look surface does not make two products interchangeable. Tell us which rooms are involved and what matters most to you, such as finish, traffic or coordination with cabinetry. We can assess the requested materials and identify the specifications that need to be confirmed before purchase.

Can I match an existing laminate floor or use it with radiant heating?

Provide the existing product reference, packaging or batch details if available, along with photos and information about the heating system. Similar color does not establish compatible plank dimensions or locking profiles. Heating suitability and installation conditions also depend on the exact products. Any matching, replacement or heating-compatible solution needs confirmation before the order is placed.

How are installation, delivery and warranty responsibilities defined?

The proposal identifies the materials and work, who confirms measurements, site access, preparation, delivery arrangements and completion checks. MFABER evaluates resources in the nearest suitable region for your location and requirements. Product and workmanship warranty terms are stated for the agreed scope. For support, contact info@mpandoglobal.com with your order or project reference and a description of the issue.

Do I need separate underlayment if the laminate already has an attached pad?

Use the instructions for the exact flooring reference. An attached pad does not mean that any additional underlayment is acceptable; approved combinations can differ by product. Moisture-control requirements for the supporting surface must also be checked separately. Send MFABER the flooring reference and subfloor details so the proposed materials, preparation and installation scope can be confirmed without adding an unsuitable layer.

Can kitchen cabinets or a fixed island be installed on floating laminate?

Do not assume the floor can be pinned beneath fixed cabinetry. Check the selected product's installation requirements before scheduling either trade. Send MFABER the cabinet and island plans, including anchoring locations, so the flooring scope and cabinet installation sequence can be coordinated before you order.

Will an open-concept layout need transition moldings between rooms?

A matching floor throughout the home may still require movement breaks. The product instructions, floor-plan dimensions and door openings determine the layout. Send a measured plan with the rooms you want connected; the proposal can identify transition moldings, their locations and the installation work involved.

The free inquiry covers an initial design and preliminary cost review. Final manufacturing dimensions, technical drawings, material selections, site measurement and installation scope are agreed separately. An initial estimate is not a binding quotation or an automated calculator result; delivery, taxes and installation are identified in the proposal.
