A useful handover record connects what was approved with what has been delivered. Use this checklist to prepare a joint review, identify open items and keep the documents needed to use and maintain the finished space.
01
Gather the final scope, relevant drawings, material or sample references and recorded changes. Compare against those documents, not against an earlier concept image. Separate work outside the agreed scope from work that was included but remains outstanding.
02
Give each item a room, component and reference photo where appropriate. Describe the observation without guessing its cause. Agree the next action, responsible contact and follow-up date. A kitchen note such as “drawer at island, item K04, requires adjustment” is more useful than “kitchen unfinished”.
03
Ask for the applicable product care instructions and the agreed contact for questions. Check that supplied appliance documents and any separately agreed specialist records are accounted for. Do not operate, dismantle or test specialist installations yourself; the appropriate qualified team should handle technical checks.

Use the sheet as a discussion record, not a technical certificate or automatic acceptance form. Keep a dated copy of the references and outstanding-item list. Record who will follow up and update the status after the agreed action is reviewed. Contractual acceptance and any specialist certification remain separate from this planning aid.
